Take Advantage Of REN Clarifying Toner with Glycolic Acid

REVIEW: REN Clarifying Toner
As I have mentioned before I'm trying to clear my skin from milia (a keratin-filled cyst that can appear just under the epidermis, looks like a pimple but can’t be squeezed). These last two months I did my research and a lot of reading.
After incorporating retinol cream in my daily routine it was time to find a toner with glycolic acid. At first I was sceptical because I heard a lot of good and bad things about products that contain glycolic acid. I have to admit I was a little scared. I didn't want to make my skin worse or make my skin sensitive to the sun. So after reading a lot of reviews about different products I decided to try REN Clarifying Toner with glycolic acid.

Company says that this is a refreshing exfoliating toning lotion that unclogs pores and sloughs off dead skin leaving the complexion looking clear, smooth and even toned. REN Clarifying Toner reduces the appearance of pore size and oiliness while its antimicrobial action minimises future breakouts. For now I have to say this toner is very effective in clearing my pores. I'm using this toner every night only on my problematic areas. I have noticed a difference in my bumpy skin which is smoother than before. I have sensitive, dry skin and this toner didn’t irritate my skin or left it drier. For now I’m very pleased with the results. I will keep you updated on my condition and its effectiveness. effectiveness. I have read it takes up to 12 months to retinol creams and glycolic acids to fully take affect and improve my skin since I have products with lower level of retinol and glycolic acid so it suites my skin type. It costs 13£ you can order it from Feelunique.

BIO Actives:

Salicilin: Gently exfoliates, purifies congested skin, reduces pore size, antibacterial
Glycolic Acid: Exfoliates, decongests and removes dead skin cells to renew skin surface
Lactic Acid, Citric Acid & Tartaric Acid: Exfoliates, decongests and removes dead skin cells to renew skin surface
Flavonoids: Antibacterial, tones skin, helps to reduce sebum production and minimises pore size

Have you tried products with glycolic acid?

  1. Hey Ana, I hope glycolic acid and retinol will take care of your milia problem! I've heard good things about this one. My skin is sensitive to AHAs, but I do really like Omorovicza Copper Peel (the second step is glycolic acid, or lactic. Some kind of AHA!). Can't wait for your milia to clear up!

  2. I've been experiencing milia under my eyes as my eye cream was too heavy. This sounds pretty good so I hope it keeps on working for you. Your photography is stunning by the way

  3. I just bought a new cleanser and stupidly threw away the box before checking the ingredients. I should go Google it and find it if it contains it.

I haven't tried this specific product from REN, but love their Radiance Renewal Mask, containing Glycol Acid too.
Hope that helps clear out your milia.
