February Favorites PART 1

Februry Favorites Part 1 Face
This month I had an opportunity to try some new products. In today's post I’m going to mention my favorite February products. This post will feature skin and makeup products. The majority of products mentioned in this post are already reviewed on this blog (I will put a link so you can check for more details) or will be reviewed in the next week or so.
Let’s begin!
REMOVING MAKEUP - I’m using coconut oil (massage it into the skin) then I remove it with warm wash cloth. After that first cleanse I use gentle African Black Soap for deeper cleaning. Depending on my skin condition I'm using Clarisonic Mia 2 three times a week, sometimes even more.

MOISTURIZING - I’m using Natura Siberica Night Cream  with La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+. I love to use them together because they make my skin hydrated and Effaclar Duo+ targets  skin problems, blemishes and dark spots. For day cream I’m using Dr.Hauschka Revitalizing Day Cream. (I will review this cream next week). It’s best base for my current foundation (Bourjois 123 CC Cream). It's watery texture, sinks very well but still leaves a layer of moist that allows your foundation to glide.

MAKEUP - As I said in last couple of posts that my skin was in a very bad condition so I started using Bourjois 123 CC Cream  for lighter coverage but still enough to cover my blemishes. This CC cream is very watery and has medium coverage. I usually mix two shades (31 Ivory and 32 Light Beige) and for under eye concealer I love my all-time favorite Bourjois Healthy Mix in shade 52 medium radiance.

On my cheeks I add a pop of color with MaxFactor Miracle Touch Cream Blush (in shade Soft Pink).

For adding sun kissed glow I'm using Bourjois Délice de Poudre Bronzing Powder (51 Peaux Claires / medianes, you can buy it here). And for a little highlight I love theBalm Mary Lou manizer Luminizer. If I'm too shiny during the day I like to toned it down a little with Bourjois Healthy Balance unifying powder in shade 52.

On the eyes I've been wearing L'oreal Paris in shade Lumiere 500. It's very warm golden shade and I like to pare it with thick black lashes using  MaxFactor False Lash Effect and L'oreal Volume Million Lashes So Couture.

  1. The Effaclar Duo+ is heaven!

    1. Yes it is, especially when that time of a month strikes :)

  2. I really need to get my hands on some of the Effaclar Duo+, I don't think I've found a blogger that hasn't loved it! Haha [=

    1. I tried original version few years back but didn't like it but this new effaclar duo+ is a lifesaver. Blemishes, dark spots or clogged pores you name it! If you have skin problems you won't regret buying it :)

  3. Love your photography! I'm obsessed with healthy mix at the moment! I haven't tried their cc cream though as I've been worried it wont cover my blemishes. Is it suitable for oily skin?

    1. I was also worried about coverage but I was pleasantly surprised that CC cream has medium coverage that is even buildable it’s more of a foundation consistency then it’s a cream. I have blemishes, dark spots and occasional acne and it covers it really good although I always put concealer to the problematic areas. Depending of your base moisturizer this cream can be dewy or more matte. On my skin can be pretty matte which I don’t like so I use more dewy moisturizer.
